Migrating into Motherhood Group

Migrating into Motherhood

A Process Group for New Mothers

Come join this circle of new mothers in their first year of motherhood. The migration into motherhood—often called matrescence—is one of the most profound rites of passage in a woman’s life. It can be beautiful, disorienting, expansive, and overwhelming all at once.

This therapist-led, process group offers a soft place to land as you navigate the many changes that come with motherhood. Each group will hold a space for reflection and sharing, exploring relevant topics, and connection.

Weekly Themes:

  1. Grounding: Introduction to Matrescence

  2. New Wings: Identity as a Mother

  3. Steadying: Relationships

  4. Uplifting: Connecting to the Body

  5. Navigating: The Work of a Mother

  6. Aligning: Ritual and Sending

Together, we will slow down, reflect, and make meaning of this season of change.
